Now over 350 members strong, we proudly provide unprecedented service to not only our clients and customers but our communities as well. Volunteerism is just one of the many aspects of what we do on a daily basis to better the community we are proud to call home. 2020 presented a unique set of challenges toward MBOR’s efforts to raise money but with a little initiative and a lot of generosity we were still able to raise over $21,000.00 to support our local charities.
In 2018, we raised $27,923.00 for various charities in our community and in 2019 we raised over $30,000.00. We served dinners once a month at Rosenbaum Family House throughout 2018 – 2019 and we provided Thanksgiving dinner to over 125 people at The Bartlett House. The largest event, Fiesta Funday was held on May 2, 2019, and raised $15,000! The proceeds went to benefit the Weekend Back-Pack Program for Scotts Run Settlement House and The Pantry Plus More Program. These programs help feed over 1,200 students in the community of Morgantown and its surrounding areas.
